The Construction Teamster Apprenticeship Program for Southern California offers a variety of training to help fulfill the demand for Qualified, Skilled individuals in the Construction Industry, within Teamsters Joint Council 42.
These programs include:
· Dump Truck and Articulation
· Fuel Truck Driver
· Low Bed Driver 5 Axles or More
· Oil Spreader Truck Driver
· Water Pull, Dust Control
· Warehouseman/Forklift Operator
· Construction Working Driver
· Ready Mix Driver
Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED equivalent, a valid drivers license and 21 years of age. The Construction Teamsters Apprenticeship Program is a 36 month Apprenticeship which includes Related Supplemental Instruction and On-the-Job Training. The Construction Teamster Apprenticeship Program is approved by the State of California - Department of Apprenticeship Standards, the Department of Labor, and the Veteran's Association. The Program is also affiliated with Helmet to Hardhats and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Pathway's Correctional Rehabilitation Program.
